school of cyber policy is a free educational program aimed at high school and college students, who have not focused their education and are not majoring in computer science or a related field. the school of cyber policy was created in order to help high school and college students improve their critical thinking skills, since the local education system does not foster enough critical thinking and self-evaluation. students will be required to assess current events and global issues from different perspectives. the school will question sources of information and require students to assess their own skills and knowledge in an impartial and objective manner. we aim to: - educate young people in bosnia and herzegovina about international affairs and technology; - raise awareness about the state of the it and cyber security job market, focusing on what it can offer considering the massive demand for experts, in order to encourage young people to consider different careers, alternative education paths and entrepreneurial possibilities; - special focus will be on educating them about cyber security, its impact on the world, the effect it has on relations between countries, and what students need to be aware of to protect themselves; - familiarize them with concepts such as crypto currencies, machine learning, artificial intelligence and twitterplomacy, as well as highly technical terms they need to understand in order to analyze global developments in technology and international crises that stem from cyber security issues; - challenge them to use critical thinking when analyzing global affairs and cyber security news, offer differing perspectives, and give them the basic knowledge needed to assess information and avoid falling pray to fake news and experts.
