the gmp group brings together and supports donors, investors and project owners through relevant industry skills and management expertise, best practice and policy in a technologically secure environment . gmp provides “on the ground” assistance to and cooperation with foreign financial donors and international investors. the gmp group works with clients to structure low-carbon and high-impact environmental strategies that create sustainable business growth. the partnership brings together strategic advice, technical understanding, and entrepreneurial thinking to the complex and rapidly changing areas of global green business consultancy along with a multicultural approach and the solid international expertise of its associates. the group is comprised of three international consultants, all currently based in jakarta indonesia; mr george kuru (forestry, carbon and redd expert), mr miguel fredes (climate change policy expert), and mr. paul pearson (project management and partnership liaison), all three partners bring together diverse skills and capabilities in the one group. initially formed to assist the indonesian government with the formulation of national policies in the field of rural sector development and coordination of the implementation of policies in the development of disadvantaged regions; gmp has developed its charter to assist and partner with ngos, corporate entities and private foundations as well as government departments.
